On December 10, 2025 the Everyone Graduates Center hosted a discovery session on how Skills for Secondary School Success can help students thrive—in school, at work, and in life.
This engaging virtual session explored the free, evidence-based program.
- Dr. Robert Balfanz introduced the program, its development, and how to bring it into the classroom or district.
- Aliyah Cohen & Betsy Warner of Grand River Academy, Grand Junction, CO discussed how they used Skills for Secondary School Success to empower students to take ownership of their learning.
- A sample lesson from the program was also modeled by Michelle Starnes of the Everyone Graduates Center at Johns Hopkins University.
